Just came across an site called 20 Creative Tips for Kid’s Rooms.  I’m not sure how long it will be up because it is on MSN life style.  It has some fun ideas for making creative space.

  1. I liked the reading place idea, but I also feel the more you try to organize your little kids’ stuff into neat little cubbies, the more they will ruin your life when they can’t keep to your vision. Best to have a general toy box, laundry basket, and bookshelf and save yourself the aggravation of having to but all the little nick-nacks away in their proper place. Also, have learned not to have puzzles or art supplies out until the kids are older, like grade school older. Saves you a lot of hassle.

  2. Fiona makes an excellent point. There are times that you just have to let things be a little chaotic. There is no time like the toddler years!
